ルンバのお休みのお話

以前のブログで、我がクリニックのルンバ（クロマル）が脱走してしまった出来事をお話しました。

今日は、その続きのお話です。

ここからは少し、お話の時間です。

町の小さな館に、黒くて丸い働き者のルンバ（クロマル）が住んでいました。

けれどもある日、クロマルは館を抜け出して外の世界へ冒険に出てしまったのです。

それからというもの、クロマルが働きに出る前には、館の扉はしっかり閉じられるようになりました。

ある日のこと。

クロマルはまず虹の待合室を掃除し、そのあと太陽の待合室を少し掃除しました。

けれどもその後、ベンチの下に潜り込んで、まるでかくれんぼをしているかのように姿を見せなくなったのです。

音だけは聞こえるのに、その姿はどこにも見えません。

そこで、館の入口を守る者がベンチの下をのぞき込み、首をかしげて言いました。

「おや？下にかくれんぼ？ 働き者のクロマルが、さぼっているのかしら？」

そこへ、知恵者どのもこの話を聞きつけて、こう言いました。

「ふむ……クロマルの気持ちは、なかなかわからぬものだね。」

館の奥さんは少し心配になり、

「もしかして、具合を悪くしたのではないかしら…」

とつぶやきました。

そのとき、久しぶりに館を支える影の人がやってきました。

道具を運ぶついでにクロマルのことを知らされ、クロマルのからだの奥を見てくださったのです。

影の人はこう言いました。

「小さな石が挟まっていました。これではクロマルは動けなかったのですね。」

それを聞いた館の奥さんは笑って言いました。

「まるで子どもが外で変なものを食べて、お腹を壊したようね。」

その言葉に、館の主人も手当ての娘たちも、そして館の入口を守る者も、みな安心しました。

クロマルの具合が悪かった原因がわかり、胸をなで下ろしたのです。

けれども大事をとって、クロマルはしばらく休ませることにしました。

元気になったら、また館の中でくるくる働いてくれることでしょう。

めでたし、めでたし。

 Roomba’s Little Rest

Today, I will tell you the next part of the story.

Here is a little story.

🌸🌸🌸

In a small hall of the town, there lived a hard-working round black Roomba called Kuro-maru.

One day, he slipped out of the hall and went on an adventure to the outside world.

Since then, before he begins to work, the doors of the hall are always closed tight.

One day, Kuro-maru first cleaned the Rainbow Waiting Room, and then the Sun Waiting Room.

But after that, he crawled under a bench and hid himself, as if playing hide-and-seek.

Everyone could hear his sound, but his body was nowhere to be seen.

Then the Keeper of the Gate peeked under the bench, tilted her head and said,

“Oh? Is he playing hide-and-seek down there? Our hard-working Kuro-maru… is he skipping work?”

Then the Wise One heard about this and said,

“Hmm… the heart of Kuro-maru is hard to know.”

The Lady of the Hall grew worried.

“Could it be… that he is not feeling well?” she whispered.

Just then, the Shadow Who Supports the Hall came by.

While carrying tools, he was told about Kuro-maru, and he looked deep into his body.

He said,

“A small stone was stuck inside. That is why he could not move.”

Hearing this, the Lady of the Hall laughed and said,

“It is just like a child who ate something strange outside and got a stomachache.”

At those words, the Master of the Hall, the Daughters of Healing, and the Keeper of the Gate all felt relieved.

Now they knew the cause of his trouble.

Still, to be safe, Kuro-maru was given some time to rest.

When he feels well again, he will spin around the hall as busily as before.
